Luke Taylor and Jen Nguyen are the owners of Poolhouse Coffee, a specialist coffee bar tucked beneath the Melbourne City Baths.

 

Poolhouse offers an express food menu, including Vietnamese homemade rice-paper rolls. There are also treats, doughnuts and sweet pastries with gluten free options.

 

Taylor designed the space, in collaboration with his furniture and art company Interspace, incorporating a modern and minimalist aesthetic to contrast from the City Bath rich red brick exterior.

 

Take a seat at the brew bar, or at the banquettes for a moment of respite from the city hussle and savour one of their many specialty coffees.
